Whipper Landscapes

Whipper Landscapes website on a laptop

Landscape and garden maintenance including mowing, hedging, weed management and green-waste removal.

A local landscaping business that didn’t have a website. Even for businesses that mostly rely on recommendations and word of mouth, a website that articulates your services, where you provide these services, and how to get in touch is crucial. It makes you look professional and shows that you’re actively in business, to provide work. With clear messaging, a simple design, built on a platform that the client can update, Whipper Landscapes is best positioned to grow not only offline, but online as well.

The challenge

Our challenge was to build a first website that makes a local landscaping business look as professional as the work it does.

The client approached us with a goal to establish an online presence for a business that had been running on word of mouth alone.

  • No website at all, in a market where people check before they call
  • Services and service areas unclear to anyone who had not used them
  • No obvious way to get in touch beyond a phone number passed along
  • Nothing online confirming the business was active and taking work

The solution

Even businesses that live on recommendations need somewhere for those recommendations to land.

We built a clear, simple site that answers what a new customer wants to know: what Whipper Landscapes does, where they do it, and how to get in touch.

The messaging spells out the services, mowing, hedging, weed management and green-waste removal, and the areas covered across the Sutherland Shire. Built in Webflow so the team can update it themselves as the business grows, without needing to come back to us for a line of text.

  • A first website that makes the business look established
  • Services and service areas stated clearly
  • Simple, obvious paths to enquiry
  • A Webflow CMS the owner can update himself

The process

  1. Discovery and messaging.

Understanding the services, the service areas and the customers the business wants more of.

  2. Copy and structure.

Writing the message and planning a simple structure built around enquiries.

  3. Design.

A clean, straightforward design on a consistent system.

  4. Build and handover.

Developed in Webflow, tested, launched, and handed over with CMS training.

A new website. A campaign. Better search performance. An update that should have happened last week.

You bring the objective. We’ll handle the web part.
