Platinum DJ Services

Platinum DJ Services website on a laptop

Professional DJs, MCs, sound and lighting for weddings, corporate functions and private parties.

When you sell experiences for wedding events, a DIY website doesn’t cut it anymore. Platinum DJ Services has been around for over 15 years and has established a great reputation in the entertainment scene in Sydney and beyond. Organic traffic was high, and work was coming in organically through the years of trusted clientele. But in order to bring the business to the next level, it needed a full refresh. We did a new logo, color palette, and full look and feel, redesigned the homepage, did some messaging work, and created key pages that would position Platinum DJ Services as the obvious choice for wedding, corporate, and birthday entertainment services.

The challenge

Our challenge was to take a business with fifteen years of reputation and build an online presence that finally matched it.

The client approached us with a goal to move beyond word of mouth and win more of the premium wedding, corporate and event work they were already qualified for.

  • Website built DIY and long overdue for a refresh
  • Strong organic traffic that wasn't converting into enquiries
  • Premium service undersold by an amateur-looking site
  • Three distinct audiences being spoken to as one

The solution

We started with the message, not the mockup.

A better looking site repeating the same vague lines was never going to move anything, so we mapped the three audiences the business actually serves, couples planning a wedding, companies booking a corporate function, and people throwing a private celebration, and wrote a distinct case for each one.

The design follows the same logic. A new logo and colour palette gave the business a look that matches the standard of the work, carried through a clean, confident homepage and a set of key pages on a consistent system, with room for the photography and social proof that do the convincing. We built it in Webflow so the team can add new work and update content themselves as the business grows, and handed it over with training rather than a login and good luck.

  • Messaging written for three audiences instead of one
  • Modern, clean page structure built to convert
  • A new logo and colour palette that match the quality of the work
  • A Webflow CMS the team can run without a developer

The process

  1. Discovery and messaging.

Mapping the three audiences and working out what each one needs to hear before they book.

  2. Copy and structure.

Writing the message and planning a page structure aimed at enquiries.

  3. Design.

Homepage and key pages designed on a consistent system, with a visual direction that matches the quality of the work.

  4. Build and handover.

Developed in Webflow, tested, launched, and handed over with CMS training.

One less thing to manage

What does marketing need to get moving?

A new website. A campaign. Better search performance. An update that should have happened last week.

You bring the objective. We’ll handle the web part.
