Croft Academy

Croft Academy website on a laptop

Coaching and consulting helping construction and trades business owners improve operations and profitability.

Mike Croft, the owner of Croft Academy, has a lot of experience in building and construction. To offer these services to other businesses, though, needed more than just a conversation. It needed a website that can clarify the offering, give a plan, and pinpoint who these services are for. The Croft Academy offers fractional COO services for trades and construction companies ready to scale.

The challenge

Our challenge was to turn deep construction experience into a service a business owner can understand, and buy, from a website.

The client approached us with a goal to sell a consulting offer that had previously only ever been explained in conversation.

  • An offer that only made sense once Mike had explained it in person
  • No clarity on who the service is for and who it is not for
  • Nothing showing the plan a client would actually follow
  • No online presence supporting a new consulting arm

The solution

Consulting sells on clarity.

We built a site that does the explaining Mike used to do himself: what fractional COO services actually involve, which construction and trades businesses they suit, and what happens once you engage.

The structure gives a prospect a plan rather than a pitch, moving from the problem, to the process, to the outcome. By the time they reach the enquiry form they already know what they are signing up for. Built in Webflow, so the offer can be refined as the business grows.

  • An offer articulated clearly for the first time
  • A defined audience, stated plainly on the page
  • A clear plan a prospect can follow before enquiring
  • Built in Webflow so the offer can evolve

The process

  1. Discovery and messaging.

Understanding the offer, the ideal client and the objections that come up in conversation.

  2. Copy and structure.

Writing the message and planning a structure that moves from problem to plan to outcome.

  3. Design.

Key pages designed on a consistent system, built for clarity over decoration.

  4. Build and handover.

Developed in Webflow, tested, launched, and handed over with CMS training.

What does marketing need to get moving?

A new website. A campaign. Better search performance. An update that should have happened last week.

You bring the objective. We’ll handle the web part.
